The Problem

Over 5 years ago, one of our customers, Sal, at Argo Tile & Stone had purchased the S3 Slim Slab Saver™ 3 Rail Auto. Upon arrival at the jobsite, the S3 system was not assembled and required attention before it could be put into service. The equipment had clearly been through the realities of active jobsite use and transport, and several components were not in working condition at that time. While this is not uncommon for tools that see regular, demanding use in the field, it meant the system was temporarily unavailable for the task at hand.

The Solution

One of the key advantages of Omni Cubed products is that they are designed, manufactured, and supported in-house in the USA. This allows our team to respond quickly and effectively when tools need service, repair, or replacement parts—without relying on third parties or long lead times. In this case, the job was nearby and our team assessed the S3 system on-site and addressed the damaged components immediately. Because we came prepared with the necessary parts, we were able to restore the system efficiently. In approximately 15 minutes, the S3 went from a non-operational state (Pic 1) to fully functional and ready for use (Pic 2).

The Results

With the S3 fully restored, Sal and the team at Argo Tile & Stone were able to confidently install 6mm large-format tile on the wall with no breaks, stress, or issues—demonstrating the system’s performance exactly as intended. Having a fully operational S3 once again means Argo Tile & Stone can approach future projects with complete confidence, and as Sal said, “absolutely zero flex”, knowing they have a reliable tool that supports precision, safety, and efficiency. The S3 is back to being a dependable part of their installation arsenal, ready to support demanding jobs whenever they arise.
