What does “Made in the USA from U.S. and Imported Parts” mean?
Omni Cubed products are engineered, machined, and assembled in Northern California, and a majority of our products’ components are of U.S. origin. However, by necessity, some products require a minimal number of parts (such as certain bolts or fasteners) that are either packaged or produced in foreign countries. Therefore, according to the Federal Trade Commission information that we have gathered, a standalone “Made in the USA” claim might be misleading to consumers. To accurately represent our products in general, we choose to use the statement “Made in the USA from U.S. and Imported Parts.”
We feel that the Omni Cubed brand of products must deliver the utmost quality and function, so we keep a very close eye on the manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes, as well as the components used, to ensure we deliver only the finest products.
Please note that many companies claim “Made in the USA” and use related logos falsely. We encourage those companies to take a closer look at how they should handle those claims in order to accurately represent their products in the best interest of their customers.
“Made in the USA” claims are governed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The FTC has very strict rules and guidelines that should be followed by all companies offering products in the USA. Please visit www.ftc.gov for more information.
